    Thanks Brett and David,
I must remember to open my eyes when reading the posts......
Now, to check out if they still have them available or has everyone else beaten me to them?

One quick question, I was tossing up between these and ATR Coopers, any thoughts before I purchase the BFG's.
    Cheers.
    Tom.

Anyone else with recent BFG AT KO quotes in 265/75/r16???
Surely with the strength of the AU over the US $ we should be seeing better deals

        Niffty,

How much did you end up paying? I'm going to be after new tyres before christmas, I was thinking BFG AT 265/75R16.

With all these quotes be careful that you are getting quoted on the LT version.

Re the step up in size, if you do so make sure you tell your insurance company & have it noted as accepted on the policy. Technically it is outside the legally allowable (roadworthy) 15mm increase in tyre size.

Sorry Pat, I work for an insurance company and that is not really true...
By Law, The insurance company can't decline the claim unless the defect or illegal item directly contributes to the cause or directly relates to the loss.

For example, if you turbo charge your car and you get hit whilst its parked they cannot decline the claim.. They can however decline your renewal of your policy.

Can you get a BFG that isn't LT? The coopers and Bridgestone have the same tyres in LT and non LT but I think BFG's are all LT

Sure, but who decides wether the defect contributed to the loss?

I am trying the Maxxis 771 @ 265/75/16 LT. $223 at BJane Brisbane.

Speedo is only out by 4kmh instead of 7kmh now. I havent noticed any difference with the torque convertor yet.

Received quote today from TTF Geelong for 265/75/16 Cooper ST in LT @ $300ea.
Hadn't considered Coopers as had heard '-ve' reviews but @ this price maybe they are worth considering.
