Series 2 LHS inner cv boot changing?

Can anyone help me with this or direct me to a thread with some info? It looks like the LHS diff supporting bracket has to come out? No details in my workshop manual. Don't really want to kill anything at this stage. Thanks

I don't remember having to pull out any diff bracket! Just the stub axle, it has to come out then take out the CV shaft.

I did my cv boots lot that long ago. The LHS on my nh just popped out...nothing was in the way?
