        Spider,
If thats your vehicle, you have a very nice truck.

I was working my way up to doing what you have done, but couldn't convince myself about the rear locker (when ARB specifically state that they didn't know if it would fit a import diesel)

I was looking- and the money you were looking for was what I sold my import for (with less km's but not the extras).

For interests sake- are the body lift blocks plastic or alloy? (roadworthy problem in QLD)

        Is it still for sale?

        Cheers

          Thanks Greg and 4wd26,

From an offroad point of view I think the diff lock was one of the better purchases.
ARB told me, after I got it fitted, that it's a good job it's an import as they didn't have locking diffs for the Aus SWB of that year.
I still have the open diff, so I'll have a look to see what the ratio is for you.

The car has had a deposit put on it and, if the guy comes to get it, it will be going all the way back up to sunny Brisbane!
I bought it from there just over 4 years ago so it's a little strange.
I'll have to get a new toy to play with soon as I will miss the little fella!

Not sure if it's relevant now but the blocks are aluminium.

          Cheers.

Oh no. can't even come close to the amount asked, that would be a perfect replacement for the dirt ninja!

              Mate,

You need to start making your own 4WD's and calling them the 'Dirt Ninjas'.
              Guaranteed sell out!

As far as I know they are standard.
                  I haven't changed them.
The drivers seat is a truckers one too.

The truck is now back on the market.
A fella from QLD was interested but decided not to go for it as he thought it was a bit risky buying without seeing and roadworthies in other states etc.
I can see his point, just wish I could have flown him down to see it ;-)

Please pass the word on to anyone who may be interested.

Thats the standard interior front seat for a import.
(mine when I got it still had the plastic wrap on the rear seats- never been sat in)

I was able to get a road worthy in QLD for my beast with 33" tyres BUT I had the factory flares and narrow 33" tyres.

My biggest problem was finding someone to insure the import with that wasn't trying to rip me off. All started out good, but premiums progressively went up.

from what I can see of the truck it would be roadworthy in QLD as the body lift blocks are alloy if you can find someone who will lend you tyres for the day as that would be my only concern.

                    my old truck.

                    still keen on these
pm me spidermonkey re: purchase price please.

What a sad day, just saw my baby being driven up the road by his new owner :-(
Sdaly I'm not going to be buying another Pajero because I need something bigger for touring.
Thanks for all your support though and I'll always sing the praises of the early Pajero's as it was a fantastc little truck which served me well from the day after I emmigrating to Oz through all the 80k I did in it in 4 and a half years.

I'll keep an eye on the forum incase I can pass on any knowledge from my experience of modding this particular model.

Hope to see you on the tracks sometime!
