Bullbars that will retrofit my gen2

    Gday guys,

Are there any bullbars off other models of vehicle that will fit my NH GLS SWB? for instance Roothys 40 series has a bar off a TJ wrangler on it i believe? There arent many secondhand steel bars floating around (It needs to be a steel).

    I dont mind redoing mounts.

    Cheers, Geoff.

The tape measure is your friend here.

I've fitted a Gen1 steel bullbar to my NH, and all I had to do was drill a hole in the bullbar to line up the factory holes in the NH chassis. (The Gen2 uses 3 bolts per side to mount the bumper, the Gen1 uses 2. One of the holes lined up, and I drilled a second.) And Gen1 bullbars are cheap as chips. It's an ARB bar (and listed on my insurance as such), picked up form eBay for $50.

The only thing it doesn't do is wrap around to meet the front wheel arches. But I don't think it looks out of place. And the two outer wings taper up a little towards the outside, which would give you a little better entry angle.

If you want, I can put up some pics.

Yonnee, do you have any pics of this set up? I'm looking for a bull bar for my NJ but they're few and far between up here in Cairns or cost a fortune to have shipped up.

I'm thinking a Gen1 might be easier, and cheaper to find.
